What is CareGivers?

CareGivers, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire, provides transportation to medical appointments, food delivery and other forms of support that connect homebound seniors to essentials and medical needs through a volunteer network.

Services include:

  • Monthly delivery of free groceries through a volunteer network (Caring Cupboard).
  • Volunteer rides to medical appointments, dialysis appointments, the eye doctor, dentist, grocery store and more (Caring Rides).
  • Various forms of emotional support (phone calls, friendly visits).

Who does CareGivers serve?

CareGivers serves homebound and disabled seniors, many of whom are retired and live alone on fixed/limited incomes.

What is CareGivers' service area?

We currently serve clients in Alton, Amherst, Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Goffstown, Hooksett, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Manchester, Merrimack, Milford, Nashua, and Wolfeboro. In Alton and Wolfeboro, only Caring Rides (rides to medical appointments) are provided.

Are there fees for services?

We never charge clients for our services.

How do I access your services?

How can I give to CareGivers?

Donations of all sizes are great ways to support and serve our clients in need. Visit our donate page to make a gift, or for more ways to give.

Catholic Charities New Hampshire, dba CareGivers, does not sell or distribute its donor information. In the case of memorial or honoree gifts, families will be acknowledged as to who made gifts, but the amount of money donated will be kept confidential.
